National Guacamole Day

September 16, 2025 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Happy National Guacamole Day! Did you know the Aztecs called avocado ‘ahuacatl’ and ‘ahuacamolli’ meant ‘avocado sauce’? It’s a taste of history in every bite.
And here are some other fun avocado facts:

  • Not a vegetable – Avocados are technically berries!
  • They are sometimes called “alligator pears” for their bumpy green skin
  • They contain heart-healthy fats (in fact, 77% of the calories in an avocado come from it, don’t worry, it’s the good kind)
  • The average millennial is said to spend nearly 9K/ year on avocado toast

Come by and guac out with us!
