March is women’s history month and we’re celebrating with a delicious book club event you’ll eat up.
Join us March 16 at lunch time in the Buena Vista Café to welcome culinarian Luladey “Lula” Moges, author of Enebla, Recipes From an Ethiopian Kitchen.
She will be collaborating with our chefs to create some of the unique recipes from the pages of her new cookbook.
Copies of Enebla will be available to purchase at the discounted rate of $20 and Lula will be onsite to answer questions and sign your copy.
About Lula:
Born in Addis Ababa, Luladey “Lula” Moges moved to the United States with her family at the age of 12 and learned the art of Ethiopian cuisine from her grandmother, mother, and aunts. Her busy career in hospitality was initially an obstacle to home-cooking—as many recipes require several hours to develop a full-bodied flavour—so she has spent years developing real-world recipes that deliver authentic, mom-approved fare in an hour or less. Lula lives in Los Angeles and works as an International Sales & Conference Services Manager at Loews Hotels & Co. Enebla is her first cookbook.
